| Sled Dogs Exemplify LeadershipI recently returned from a new experience: Dogsledding and camping in Ely, Minnesota at Wintergreen Dogsled Lodge. It was an amazing adventure with five incredible Canadian Inuit dogs. When pulling the sled down the trail, these working dogs became determined machines focused on one thing: Pulling. This display of teamwork made me think about leadership - and the incredible example they provided! |

Driftwood Adventure Treks and ELEVATE NEXT Lead Photography Workshop in EthiopiaBriana Gallo and I head to Ethiopia in early May to provide a photography workshop for students at Haile-Manes Academy (HMA) northeast of Addis Ababa. HMA is a world-class, co-educational private college preparatory and residential school. A project of Ethiopia Education Initiatives (EEI), a US-based not-for-profit organization, HMA enables students to reach their highest potential as critical thinkers, enterprising young problem-solvers, and purposeful, community-minded individuals. | Big T Trucking & LogisticsWe created a logo and published the new website for start-up, Big T Trucking & Logistics, owned by Germaine Goldsmith this week. Goldsmith spent three years (2018-20) in Iraq at Al Asad Airbase as a KBR Heavy Truck Driver for the U.S. Army. During his time in Iraq, Goldsmith knew that he would launch his own trucking company upon return to the US. He named the company, based in Crestview, FL, in honor of his late cousin, Terence “Big T,” who passed away at the age of 26. They dreamed of starting a trucking business as young boys, and Goldsmith thought it was only right to name the business after his cousin. “I absolutely love the website and all the contents. Looks really professional. Thank you for helping me with this process.” |

Dog-Harmony presents its 7th annual Doggie EGGstravaganza, a hoppin’ social where dogs hunt for eggs filled with yummy treats, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on April 14th at Grand Boulevard at Sandestin. Nearly 700 eggs, sponsored by Hope Walker-Morgan, Realtor® with Sand Dunes Real Estate, will be hidden at Grand Park to sniff out. Bunny ears and Easter costumes are encouraged. A $15 donation per dog provides each participant with a basket for the canine egg hunt and access to professional photos sponsored by Mills Photo Design. For humans, there will be libations, a silent auction, and a chance drawing. JC’s Gourmet will be serving their smoked Somethin' Snappy dip, candied Jommin’ Jalapeños garnish and Poppin’ Pimento cheese. |
