From Rescue to Rehab: One Dog’s Mission to Bring Harmony to Healthcare

Chloe, a Dog-Harmony therapy dog, brings 65 pounds of love and joy to staff and patients - and the occasional tears to patients who miss their dogs at the HCA Florida Healthcare's Rehabilitation Institute of Northwest Florida. Her favorite place to visit at the rehab center is the physical therapy (PT) gym, where she can interact with the PT patients. She is a great aid, assisting with repetitive arm movements as a command to sit, stay, or play fetch.

Chillin’ for Canines at Ain’t Life Cool on May 7 Benefits Dog-Harmony

Ain’t Life Cool, a cryotherapy and wellness center, is hosting Chillin’ for Canines benefiting Dog-Harmony on Tuesday, May 7 at 8955 US-98, Suite 104 in Miramar Beach. 100% of the proceeds from clients visiting the center that day will be donated to Dog-Harmony, a 501(c)3 dedicated to enriching the lives of humans and their canine companions through community education and therapy dog programs.

Aletha's Legacy Announces its 2021 Project

On June 19, 2021 at the home of Joan and Stephen Carter, Aletha's Legacy presented its 2021 project the renovation of the Children's Future Program & Orphanage in Kakata, Liberia. This orphanage is home to 53 children, who lost their parents during the multi-year ebola crisis. The renovation will include a new roof, kitchen, bathrooms, classroom updates, a new computer room, new library, proper waste disposal and more.
