Buy the Books Aletha’s Legacy - Embarking on a New Project Aletha’s Legacy’s next project is the renovation of the Children’s Future Program & Orphanage in Kakata, Liberia. This orphanage is home to 51 children orphaned by the Ebola crisis in Liberia. On June 16th, Joan and Stephen Carter generously hosted the 2nd Annual Sunset at the Penthouse fundraiser, which made it possible for the Board to raise $78K thanks to the generosity of the attendees. Our goal is to raise a total of $100K to renovate the orphanage this year - and we are almost there!
